Program Objectives

Orleans Technical Institute's Building Trade programs prepare students with the fundamentals to enter and succeed in their chosen field. Training programs emphasize hands-on, practical instruction using the latest technologies, equipment and tools of the trade.

Employment Opportunities

Upon completion of a trades training program, Orleans’ on-site employment specialists work with each student one-on-one offering job search assistance and access to unadvertised positions with employer partners throughout the region. Graduates are employable in entry-level positions in their chosen field.

Career Outlook

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, employment in the building trades is expected to increase during the 2008–18 decade.
