Building Maintenance

Learn by doing! At Orleans Technical Institute, you can earn your Trades Diploma in just 6 or 13 months and take the first step toward an exciting career in Building Maintenance. Develop a wide range of handy skills—from carpentry and painting to plumbing and heating—needed to maintain and renovate residential properties and commercial buildings. Financial aid is available for those who qualify. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, and valid driver's license.

Career Outlook

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, employment of general maintenance and repair workers is expected to grow 9 percent from 2012-2022.
