The father of five kids, Herve settled into America with some work experience as a truck driver and doing building maintenance in a hotel. But he wanted to find more steady work to support his growing family. Herve figured that the key to success in the workforce was to get training.

Herve enrolled in the air conditioning, heating and refrigeration program at the Northeast Campus of Orleans Technical Institute. He was really determined to gain knowledge in this field, but also to learn about home repair. At the time he was fixing up his own home.

With determination and perseverance, Herve balanced school and home life. He got a great job with Westcode repairing air conditioning units used on trains. He's also continuing his love for home remodeling, doing some work on the side and teaching his sons some technical skills. With the confidence he gained at Orleans, Herve hopes to someday invest in fixing up properties.
